Keep Calm and Blame On

What?! You’ve not heard of the ‘Keep Calm' craze yet!?

Recently the old 1939 poster produced by the British government have come alive, people have been re-producing these posters and used it as a decorative theme for whatsoever. People have been using the print on book covers to take pictures as accessories, hanging them in their restaurant as display theme and stuff like that.

“The poster was initially produced by the Ministry of Information [2] in 1939 during the beginning of World War II. It was intended to be distributed in order to strengthen morale in the event of a wartime disaster. Two-and-a-half million copies were printed, although the poster was distributed only in limited numbers.[3] The designer of the poster is not known.” –wiki

So I bored and made my own version of “keep calm” poster!

Basically retaining the style of the ordinal poster from 1936, and adding he modern element like a twisted version of Facebook “like” button. I called it the “blame” button.

And no, it’s not my fault. Mostly it’s the government fault.

Oh, the original looks something like that .
Open your eye, mashups are everywhere.
Keep calm and stay awesome people!

Railroad II.

A continuation of my previous post...

And yes, i walk 5km of the rocky railway with this pair of havaianas.
along the way, I've spotted around 20 worn out shoes soles, seems like even their best tracking/running shoes didn't make it till the end.

Congrats dear blue havaianas! you've survived!
i'm walking alright.

Down the railroad.

Railroad.

So the Tanjong Pagar Railway Station recently ended it's 79 years of service.
And thus, the tracks that used travel between Singapore and Malaysia will be redundant after all. Before the singapore government clear them and start building more casinos and hotels on these lands, i thought, why not visit it one last time?

I took quite a number of photos along the railroad, heh, seems like everyone else who walk through this route would have gotten these shots.

Here's a song that this trip reminds me - I've Been Working on the Railroad

Dear Rina, Eunice and DaoQing, remember our malaysia trip 2 years ago?I'm so glad we travel via the train! I'll never forget those awesome times.

Japanese Food Crave

To me, The Kotobuki Japanese Restaurant has the best japanese food in singapore.
One word : Awesome.
A very authentic Japanese Restaurant i should say, there's aways more real japanese then singaporean in it.

It's located in a bustling small town centre deep within Taman Jurong.
Where exectly?

Brought my family for a treat(!!!) as i got my second pathetic pay(+ pathetic commission) from where i'm working from.

Picture me, picturing you.

"Picture me, picturing you." ; so who takes picture of who? ... wait, what?!

From the beginning of my interest in taking photos(not too long ago),
I've noticed that alot of my shots are shots of someone shooting someone else. hmmm... sounds funny, will someone correct my sentance please.

Probably i should create a page just for these photos.

Anyway, here's one from a gathering 2 days ago at Marché (summerset 313).
